THEATRE International Theatre Workshop now over
The first major International Theatre Workshop on the theme of the Mediterranean came to an end on 29th November. The workshop developed around the idea of theatre as a “construction site for art”, in which the works of tomorrow may take root and sediment, while offering the young and future artists an opportunity for an educational experience. Many of the workshops scheduled in November, will later flow into the 40th International Theatre Festival –which will be held from February 20th to March 8th 2009– this time in their full form of performances. The program of the event will be announced on Tuesday 16th December.
