Host Julia Draganovic of Palazzo delle Arte Napoli interviews Alban Hajdinaj, one of five artists represented in the Albanian Pavilion at the Palazzo Malipiero for the 2007 Venice Biennale. His video piece documents a non-scientist whose theories dispute the very geological history and makeup of the earth and uses this theory to predict earthquakes. P.S.1's David Weinstein meets up with the co-curator Biljana Ciric and participating artists Josefina Pusch and Jin Shan to discuss Migration Addicts, a moveable site-specific exhibition and urban intervention project launched in Shanghai, exported to the Singapore Art Festival and here at the 2007 Venice Biennale. In pursuit of their goals the group ran afoul of the law in Venice and even suffered the malicious destruction of a publicly displayed sculpture. But they accomplished a very ambitious program nonetheless. (20 minutes)
Our special roving correspondent in Venice 2007 Zefrey Throwell with guest Maria Morgante who runs an artist salon in Venice called I mercoledi degli artisti.
