They started their career in 1995 when they were signed to Moving Shadow Records for a three record deal on the back of their massively sucessful Dezires/Images single which was remixed by DJ Krust. Previously they had indivual success under with their own projects. Dave Wallace was known for his early jungle tunes as Rave Doctor/Fugative on Underdog Recordings. Keiron Bailey for his Artinis/New Vision work also on drum and bass label Underdog and Brent Newitt for his hip hop releases as Jaziac Sunflowers on Bob Jones' Black on Black label. There's been some history since those days but stay tuned for solid Nu-Skool Breakbeat, Drum & Bass, Old Skool Hardcore, Hip-Hop. |

A regular radio spot on Shibuya-FM in Japan and their masterful mixed CDs have held them up as some of the best musical tacticians that Tokyo has to offer. After performing at P.S.1's "Warm Up" last summer, the traveling DJs Kent & KZA moved on to play at the Asagiri Jam (or "It's a beautiful Day) outdoor music festival at Mount Fuji in October, 2004. Truly a Force of Nature, they have also done production work Nigo, Rymaster, UNKLE, and Shakka Zombie, among others and have a new CD, "II" out on the Libyus Music label. |

Llanos learned the art of DJing from the legendary Larry Levan at Manhattan's Paradise Garage. Llanos served as Levan's relief DJ for four years until the famed club's closing in 1987. Since that time, Llanos has remained a resident DJ at the biggest and best NYC clubs, past and present. In addition to his guest spots at the now-defunct "Body and Soul" parties in the late Nineties, early 2000's, Llanos has entertained club crowds worldwide with his magical house music sounds. The founder of progressive hip-hop label Stone's Throw Records, PBW has earned an international following for his innovative hip-hop productions and inventive DJing style. This set, from July 3, 2004, covers a wide range of PBW's musical flavors, including Brazilian beats mixed with electro breaks and classic Kraftwerk. Madlib is known best for his massive 2003 Blue Note Records release "Shades Of Blue", the full-lengh album featuring re-interpretations and remixes of selected tracks from the Blue Note vaults. However, in the underground hip-hop world, Madlib has been producing and creating tracks for over ten years under his own name and under numerous aliases, notably Quasimodo and Yesterday's New Quintet. A noted producer for Peanut Butter Wolf's Stone's Throw Records, Madlib continues to dominate the world of underground hip-hop through international DJ gigs and innovative production work. Brooklyn native Kervyn Mark has been spinning around NYC from the early days of hip-hop through the legendary Manhattan nightlife eras of the Paradise Garage, Danceteria and Suzanne Bartsch's famed Club Savage, where Mark reigned as the first resident DJ. Since his early days as a club maverick, Mark has spun all over the world as well as in his hometown, with notable guest spots at Body & Soul, Dance Promise, and at Bang the Party. Mark serves on the board of directors for Melting Pot NYC, an artists' collective whose main objective is to enlighten through music. |
